Role: Senior Consultant - Machine Learning / Statistical Modelling

Location: Mumbai

what you will be doing in your job

- Responsible for solving customer problems by developing Algorithms and Machine Learning/ AI models

- Create examples, prototypes, and demonstrations to help others to better understand the work.

- Willingness to develop deeper understanding of customer's business and how Data Science can solve them. We like people who have a holistic approach of the problem solving.

- Ability to work autonomously. Smart people like independence and we encourage it.

- Ability to think through different approaches and decide on the optimal one while solving problems.

What are we looking for (Must have) :

- Extremely sophisticated Statistical model building ability, one who understands the Maths as well as Model building process to solve a particular problem. We like people who can explain what they are doing at every level of detail

- Have Solid understanding of Multivariate Time series Forecasting, CLV Modelling, Credit Risk Scorecard, Collection Scorecards, Churn Modelling, SME Lending, Cross Sell

- Very strong programming skills - R, SQL and Python skills.

- Experience in building financial models like application, behavior, collection scorecards

- Ability to learn new fields of Data Science and contribute to new field of studies through research paper. Don- t worry, you won- t be doing it alone. There is a very strong culture of creating new knowledge at Number Theory.

- PhD/Masters in Statistics/Mathematics/Operations Research from Tier 1 College with minimum 4 years of relevant experience.

What are we looking for (Nice to Have) :

- Knowledge of Machine Learning/Deep Learning and inclination towards cutting edge data science tools/approaches

- Knowledge of Banking/Financial services Domain

- The role needs to be ahead of our customers and provide them thought leadership in their area of business.
