Role Description
The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for managing the software development team, building and working on enterprise grade software systems using the Java technology stack. The PM-Technical will provide technical and team leadership through coaching and mentor ship.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage the technical Teams onsite and offshore
- Will be point contact for the client for technical discussions around architecture, security, integration, infrastructure etc.
- Prepare /Review the high level technical design and guide the development team
- Estimate the new changes to the applications and coordinate with Sales team for the proposal closure
- Prepare the delivery plan for deliverable and agree with the client.
- Manage the delivery as per agreed delivery plan agreed with the client
- Report the Project progress to Internal Management and to the Client.
- Track the production support SLAs and continuously engage with the Client
- Adhere to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on-time and on-budget.

Competencies & Capabilities
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
Experience
- 12-13 Years of experience in Java technologies
- At least 3-4 years in the previous role as Technical Delivery/Project Manager
Knowledge / Skills
- In depth knowledge and implementation experience in Java and J2EE (JDBC, Servlet, JSP), spring and hibernet skills
- Very Good experience designing and developing enterprise grade software
- Very Good implementation knowledge of XML/ SOAP interface and ability to design and develop integration with middle ware solutions
- Good Knowledge of Web logic and Apache, Oracle 11g database
- Very good Project Management skills for timely and quality delivery
- Strong communication skills with both internal team members and external business stakeholders
- Strong initiative to find ways to improve solutions, systems, and processes
