Purpose Of The Position :

To support the function heads by enabling and deploying priorities related to people operations and acting as the one stop HR interface for all HR related issues.

Key Responsibilities :

- Integrate the HR strategy and function strategy to prepare an operating plan for its deployment in the respective functions.

- Periodically discuss the function priorities with the business head in terms of the emerging people related requirements for his/her team- resources, training programs, skill gaps etc and revise the operating plan accordingly.

- Be the extended arm of the Center of Excellences (CoE) by supporting the implementation and roll outs of HR initiatives on the function. Also, provide inputs to the CoEs on the emerging requirements for the business units.

- Build alignment and generate buy-in for the HR initiatives in the function by sensitizing project managers/business heads regarding their importance and benefits for developing employees and retaining talent.

- Actively engage with the employees of the functions, have a view on their performance and surface issues/concerns; discuss the same with the function head and influence him to take decisions on areas which require his attention/intervention.

- Enable the deployment of the PMS process by building skills (conducting orientation sessions, facilitating development dialogues, formulating IDPs etc) and reviewing the quality of output in the respective functions.

- Coach and support team and line managers, responsible for case management

- Track and consolidate the MIS for employee related information (attrition trend, training man-days, nature of grievances raised, skill gap) for the function and highlight progress/deviations against plans on a timely basis to the function heads.

- Cascade and monitor the adherence and compliance to the values and culture of Nucleus in the respective functions; surface and address deviations.

- Ensure compliance and governance in all the people practices

Key Performance Indicators :

- Timely deployment of all people processes- learning and development programs, PMS roll out, identification of key talent and adherence to career plan, succession planning

- Reduction in attrition in the function

- Alignment of right talent within business units

- Training man-days achieved

- Employee engagement score

- Adherence to development plan for employees as discussed during the appraisal discussions

- Adherence to Nucleus values in the function
