Role: Manager - Compensation &amp; Benefits Work Location: Mysore Reporting to: VP - Human Resource Knowledge Required: 1. Human Resources - Knowledge of principles and procedures for compensation and benefits, Employee relations &amp; Recruitment. 2. Administration and Management - MIS on people comp &amp; benefits, Interfacing with external entities such as Banks, Insurance companies, Auditors etc., 3. Law and Government - Knowledge of Income Tax Act and Rules for salaries, TDS procedures, Other labour laws like PF, ESI, Gratuity etc, code of conduct, government regulations w.r.t labour and employment Qualifications and Experience : 1. Relevant HR experience around 10 years and in a manager capacity of 3 years. 2. Should preferably be an MBA (in HR / Finance) Responsibilities: 1. Manage company's payroll &amp; reimbursements (including Travel, Loans &amp; Advances etc.) comprising of 3000+ employees spanning from sales &amp; marketing, factory workers, staff category 2. Statutory Compliance - Payment of dues, filing of returns -monthly, quarterly and annual, managing the inspections by Government Authorities, attending to notices on statutory matters/compliance. 3. Performance Management (PAN India) : - Drive Performance Management System - Establish performance driven culture by implementing best practices - Coach &amp; act as a sound board to leadership team - Develop PMS guidelines &amp; ensure PMS is driven as per guidelines - Drive PMS cycle viz goal setting, mid-year review, performance appraisal, performance coaching and PIP process - Plan &amp; anchor performance awareness workshops for managers 4. Design &amp; implement incentive plan / variable pay for all levels. 5. Attending to employees- queries relating to comp and benefits. Managing escalations. 6. Understanding organisation's salary structure and benefits provision to ensure a balance between control of costs and attracting and retaining staff. 7. Researching and analyzing salary rates and benefits offered by other employers in the FMCG sector. 8. Undertaking job evaluations to ensure that the differences in pay between those doing different jobs within the organization are fair and are perceived to be so; 9. Making recommendations on changes to employee comp &amp; ben schemes (pension and insurance schemes). 10. Identifying, developing and implementing new benefit packages, ensuring that these are current and competitive and in line with legal requirements 11. MIS relating to comp and benefits, Annual budgeting relating to comp and benefits. 12. Assist the VP HR during annual appraisal process. 13. Deal with Audits - Statutory and Internal w.r.t comp and benefits. 14. Developing and maintaining personnel record systems in accordance with current legislation. Design, evaluate and modify benefits policies to ensure that programs are current, competitive and in compliance with legal requirements.
