You would be responsible for: - Own Product Delivery, Production Systems, and all Operations of the Retail Business - Setup and Own processes to ensure:Smooth and timely software delivery of high quality, and production rollout - Smooth and timely software delivery of high quality, and production rollout - Management of production infrastructure, which scales with the growing needs of the retail business - Tracking and timely resolution of customer, and production issues, in a systematic manner - Timely availability of dashboards, MIS and associated data, for analysis by various teams - Managing a cross functional team of Product Managers, Software Developers, QA, Data Analysts and Operations Analysts Your typical day at work: - Present the quarterly plan with OKRs to the Executive Team, focusing on improvements across Processes, Systems, and People across each of the cross functional teams - Execute on each element the quarterly plan, in a systemic manner - Periodically resent the Product Roadmap, and the progress on the ongoing sprint to the Business Teams - Come up with a hiring plan, to fill key positions across the various teams, and then work with the HR team towards closing the positions - Connect with the Partner Bank, to discuss areas of improvement for each of the existing products - Work with the Product team to identify the payload for the next sprint, taking into account all the various teams- priorities - Conduct daily standups with the Tech and Product teams to keep track of the sprint progress - Conduct daily standup with Ops, Finance and Sales teams to get a sense of key issues, and the associated ageing - Work with the Tech team, to help out on the issues they are blocked on, in the current sprint - Ensure the correct RCA is published with all the senior stakeholders, for the recently faced production issue - Review the call centre data, and the associated ticketing to identify areas of improvement, and recommend changes in process/ product - Analyze the daily Success Rate MIS to identify key problem areas What we expect from you: - A leader who can set the right example for Tech, Product and Operations teams, and build a culture of innovation, and collaboration across the teams - Proven experience on how to project manage large scale, complex software meant for today's mobile internet needs - You should know how to setup the optimum process to suit the needs of a fast paced fintech company, processing large transaction volumes - You should be very analytical, and data driven - Have a big audacious dream in your heart, and a twinkle in your eye What we would also like: - Experience of 8 - 12 years, preferably in Financial Services, Retail Banking or Payments - Previous experience in Scrum/ Agile methodology is highly preferable - Previous experience with a startup is preferable - Prior experience as a Software Engineer, would be a huge plus - MBA/ BTech from a Tier 1 college would be a plus - Brownie points if you excel in something apart from work
