National Sales Head (Retail Business) Reporting to: Executive Team Location: Sarjapur Main Road, Bangalore We at Novopay are disrupting Banking, as we know it. You would be responsible for: - Plan and Achieve the goals for the Retail Business, in terms of GMV, Net Revenue and Profitability - Plan, Build and Lead various cross functional teams that form the Retail Organization (Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, and Operations) - Plan and implement a Distribution Channel Strategy, which can deliver digital, and financial products through the retail network, catering to the needs of the Next Billion Consumers in the country - Establish sufficient market coverage based on demographic parameters, and ensure partner penetration across the Regions. - Recruit, Train, Motivate and Retain senior managers across Sales, Marketing, Partnerships and Operations functions - Plan, Strategize and implement Channel partners engagement to drive high productivity at the Retail outlet level. - Work closely with Technology and Product teams, to able to deliver the business goals set for the business Your typical day at work: - Present the quarterly plan with OKRs to the Executive Team, focusing on how to achieve the GMV, Revenue and Profitability targets - Establish and Manage a productive, professional relationship with the channel partners - Carry regular PJP to give visits to Channel partners, spend time with them and keep them motivated to do more. - Drive adoption of new products, promotions or process across the Region. - Coordination with the various teams in the Head office to ensure timely support provided to the field team. - Conduct daily/weekly/monthly meetings with the team to fix the plan and review the results. - Take extra effort to ensure that each of the team members come up to the expected productivity level. - Analyse the MIS at the territory level and District level to have a pulse of the Business. What we expect from you: - A Sales and Business leader who is strong in Strategy and Execution excellence. - Proven experience in Managing Sales and Distribution at Nation level. - A strong Product and Technology background is highly desirable - Should be a high achiever with a proven track record. - You should be excellent in analytical/Reasoning skills; Good Team player. - Have a big audacious dream in your heart and a twinkle in your eye. What we would also like: - MBA with excellent Team management skills, strong knowledge of Channel management. - Experience of 15 - 20 years of hands-on experience in managing teams - Good knowledge in FMCG, Telecom, Retail Banking, Fintech, especially in Channel sales Domain. - Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills - Brownie points if you excel in something apart from work
