Learning Solutions Partner

Job purpose:

- In partnership with the HR Business Partner (HRBP) and the customer group, this position is responsible to identify training needs and to design related solutions to address individual and organizational gaps in skills, knowledge and behaviors, and to maximize learning impact through excellence in training methods, instructional design and project management.

Major accountabilities:

- In close collaboration with the HRBP and colleagues within D&EO, define training needs, and match needs with related business objectives of customer groups, to anticipate how performance could be impacted by a shift in behaviour or skills training.

- Be accountable for and lead the provision of comprehensive high quality training solution programs to improve primarily scientific and functional competencies, as well as specific leadership competencies where no global solution exists.

- Once training need defined, lead the process from the design, development, implementation and evaluation of high quality training solutions.

- Manage expectations of internal customers and training stakeholders for assigned projects.

- Guide Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) with regards to an appropriate structure of training content by considering adult learning theory and practice.

- Ensure evaluation of and maximize the effectiveness of training solutions programs, be ac-countable for selection of most appropriate delivery method and instructional design.

- Complement own knowledge and share best practice of adult learning, learning technologies and related tools

- Leverage existing knowledge and best practice with peers in D&EO. Permanently look for synergy across HR Development to identify and implement comprehensive solutions to client needs.

- Act as a facilitator on special, exceptional occasions.

- Share knowledge and best practice within D&EO.

Ideal background:

- Education (minimum/desirable): Master’s Degree in HR; previous working experience in pharmaceutical industry; HR / training background preferred

Experience:

- 5-7 years HR and/or Training background

- Facilitation & Business Partnering skills

- Ability to work in a cross functional and cross cultural team within a matrix organization.

- Training, curriculum development, instructional design experience.

- Strong business understanding

- Ability to quickly pick-up scientific subject matters to a sufficient degree for the job

Languages: Fluent spoken and written English essential.
