This position is responsible for overseeing the risk exposure relating to vendor master data (during on boarding /life cycle) including managing Global Vendor Call Back Execution for Supplier Management (SM) process within Procure to Pay. This role will collaborate with internal Novartis Spokes, GPO, customers and external suppliers to ensure that all anti-fraud processes in P2P area are executed efficiently globally without any surprises.

Your responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Supplier Management Fraud Prevention: Responsible for managing the risk exposure in supplier master data including seamless delivery of vendor call back process & other control steps to ensure fraud prevention. Ensuring associated local/global KPIs and SLAs are improved and monitored. Delivering appropriate reporting and metrics highlighting operational efficiency, effectiveness and issues proactively.

- Focus on Customers: Collaborate with Novartis internal customers, third party vendors and external suppliers. Work closely with Country Business teams along with BPs on issues / challenges related to SM Vendor Call Back area.

- Performance Management and Service Delivery: Provides services at expected levels with a clear customer service mindset. Deliver industry standard best in class performance and a user-friendly End-user experience.

- Controls and Compliance: Should have good understanding on Financial Controls Framework especially in the Supplier Management area. Vendor Call Back will be one of the control step for successful execution for one of the key control in SM process area.

- Business Partnering Develop and maintain customer focused relationships with key stakeholders. In partnership, identify and deliver business adaptive processes to ensure core compliance. Foster a balance between customer centric service delivery and core process compliance. Has the ability to coach themselves and others through change.

- Project Management/Team Management - Demonstrate experience in planning and leading projects utilizing project management techniques, with strong interpersonal and understanding of technical requirements. Extensive experience in organizational design and people management and development, with the ability to motivate and empower teams. Drive projects in partnership with teammates and in consideration of E2E process.

- Drive Change Management: Ensure global implementation of any process changes in SM area which requires coordination with multiple teams / stakeholders etc.

- Communication - Effectively communicate with internal peers, teammates, Internal/External Customers regarding daily operations and short-term/long-term strategies. Role model for effective communication, objective listening, problem solving and conflict management

Minimum requirements :

What you'll bring to the role:

- Bachelor's Degree with 13+ Yr. Work experience. CPA and/or MBA / Supply Chain advanced programs desirable.

- Previous experience of fraud prevention in P2P area in an organisation of similar size and complexity is required. Knowledge about new age risk and experience of rolling out prevention tools/solutions available in market

- Experience of F&A process particularly deep domain expertise in supplier on-boarding, Procurement and Accounts Payables process

- Seasoned Experience with Ariba/SAP/BI or similar ERP systems, Project Management and Process Improvements, managing remote 3rd party supplier relationships

- Previous Experience with Reporting and Analysis and dealing with internal and external auditors, and experience with SOX and control matrixes.

- Strong Change Management Skills and Flexibility, Strong Communication, Facilitation and interpersonal skills, Strong Customer Service experience and Strong knowledge and/or experience within an empowering/self-direct environment.

- Demonstrated ability to work with international colleagues and ability to resolve problems and conflicts across matrix organizations. Ability to coach and provide constructive feedback
