Role: Operations Manager - Investment Performance
Responsible for managing an analytical products client servicing operations of a process(es).
Supports the Divisional Manager/ Division Head to develop the strategic plan and manages his/her unit's expenses. Works with clients to provide on-going satisfaction with investment services.
Provides consulting expertise to clients and internal partners and staff.
Conducts performance management and career development processes, and staffing and disciplinary actions.
- Manages a performance analytics client servicing unit or function.
Conducts the performance management process, identifies training and development needs, and establishes performance standards for the unit.
- Supports the DM/ DH to develop the business unit strategic plan and sets goals and priorities based on the direction set for his/her teams. Follows through to ensure objectives are met.
- Works with DM/ DH to finalize his/her processes- Budget and manages the expenses for his/her teams.
- Provides leadership and guidance to staff, fostering an environment which encourages employee participation, teamwork, and communication.
- Works with clients to provide on-going satisfaction of investment services. Oversees support staff and production process. Oversees and develops complex analytical products and services to clients.
- Provides consulting expertise to clients and internal partners and staff.
- Conducts performance management and career development processes, provides input for staffing and disciplinary actions and provides hands-on training to staff
- Develops periodic goals, organizes the work, sets short-term priorities, monitors all activities, and ensures timely and accurate completion of the work.
- Provides input and support to budget management process.

Qualifications - External
- Minimum 10 years of work experience with majority of experience in the areas of Capital Market, Securities Operations, Custody/Investment Banking Operations.
- For internal candidates, minimum two years in a Section Manager or equivalent role.
- Managerial and Domain experience in Custody /Investment Banking Operations is preferred
- An in-depth background/exposure to managing team (including conflict resolution, problem solving) is essential.
- Minimum 5 years of experience of managing teams.
