North Sales Head - Solar Industry
Job Description:
- Channel strategy and go-to-market for sales and service
- Manage channel eco system
- Design and Implement policies and processes around channel build-up including all stages in channel life cycle management for new product and market launches
- Market mapping and sales planning, manage sales pipeline, forecast monthly sales
- Evaluate partner sales performance and recommend improvements for revenue generation
- Development of SOPs & policies which govern execution of processes so as to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the entire sales process starting from lead generation to end consumer delivery and reduce conflicts and finally customer satisfaction
- Implementation of review & reporting mechanisms which assist in decision making and track compliance to processes. Conduct sales, operations and planning meetings, providing visibility on sales, demand distribution, supply trends and ensure corrective actions for business growth
- Work closely with key business leaders to implement the business strategy, validate forecast accuracy, and provide input to inventory and procurement team. Align business plans with operational plans to achieve the desired results
- Plan last mile delivery and drive procurement, fulfillment and logistics team to deliver the same. Lead and own the development of selling tools for sales initiatives and promotions along with heading the sales capability function
- Aligning engineering, sales and marketing teams for developing customized product for specific segments
- Work closely with MNRE, SNAs and discoms, so that recommendations and inputs are given at time of policy framework
- Track all competition product/offering and inputs are given to engineering and project team for better USP for Solar rooftop systems
- Work toward development of team members for next level role through on job training and delegation
