About the Role:
Meritto is the Operating System for Student Recruitment and Enrollment, empowering educational organizations worldwide. We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team in the Malaysia. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, strong knowledge of the education industry, and a passion for driving business growth. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for generating new leads, building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, and closing deals to achieve sales targets.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and target potential clients in the education industry, including higher education institutions, K-12 schools, EdTech companies, and study abroad organizations, within the Malaysia.
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies and plans to generate leads, nurture prospects, and convert them into customers.
- Present product demonstrations and conduct sales presentations to showcase the value and benefits of Enroment Cloud.
- Prepare and negotiate proposals, contracts, and pricing agreements in line with company guidelines and customer requirements.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within the education or EdTech industry.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong knowledge of the education landscape in the Malaysia, including key institutions, market dynamics, and decision-making processes.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
- Valid work visa for the Malaysia.
- Fluency in English and Malay, written & spoken
