Our client is a leading telecom infrastructure company in Nigeria. They are looking for someone to head their 200 seater Network Operations Centre for telecom services. Our client offers a state-of-the-art infrastructure management and professional services and site monitoring systems to to mobile network operators in Nigeria, Cameroon, Niger and other neighbouring countries in West Africa.

The services offered by our clients NOC include a holistic approach to tower utilisation with the aim of turning every base station and tower into its own profit and loss centre; green power management; preventative and corrective maintenance of all devices and procedures on site; minimising site down time closer to zero; and a new approach to customer service management.

The Key Deliverables of the NOC head include:

- Establish cross-functional process and procedures which strengthen the NOC to reflect the overall focus on customer service and technology management

- Responsible for defining an operational framework and coherent set of operational process across the OpCos and suppliers by setting up, participating in and at times driving workshops to establish the framework and processes

- Managing a team from Quality Performance, Change management, Supervision, Configuration, OSS, and 3rd Party Contractors Teams on Passive Network

- Responsible for the maintenance of the software upgrade roadmap across all elements and provide guidance to OpCos and Suppliers on what upgrades to perform and when

- Proactively deliver operational performance improvements in to a new global organisation

- Escalations and Fault Management & communications for the live network 247, Fault management Enterprise circuit like L3VPN, DIA, PRI, IPLC and other data services

- Responsible for ensuring that network faults have clear reports attached to them and that the operational processes/practices are changed to prevent re-occurrences of the same fault

- Lead emergency fault management through coordination of resolution activities with Mobile telecommunication business representatives and external Suppliers

- Responsible for Remote Technical support to Field & 3rd parties; Network monitoring, Faults detection & resolutions, Trouble Ticketing

- Ensuring that the Services being offered are in line with the Master Services Agreement (MSA). The MSA covers the various schedules governing the Operations and the Service Levels (SLA) involved for all Services involved

- Coming up with innovative solutions to increase efficiency

The salary range for the position is equivalent of Rs. 70 to 80 Lacs per annum
