Roles and Responsibilities

- Understand ever changing Customer needs

- Implementing and maintaining Supplier Approval, Supplier evaluation & Monitoring system towards continuous improvement.

- Manage the P&L of Multiple Categories

- Stay on Top of changing trends and strategic priorities through in-depth consumer data

- Own the Revenue and Growth of categories by working on AOV contribution, User penetration and frequency

- Keep a sharp understanding of user groups, their shopping behavior and assortment needs

- Put in place a scalable and manageable process to gather inputs from Customers and Sales team

- Create a comprehensive assortment & Selection Addition strategy, focused on increasing the customer wallet share in the platform

- Identify opportunities for giving customers value through intelligent and limited discounting

- Liaise with customer acquisition and engagement teams to drive campaigns and product launches

- Liaise with research agencies, Customer Acquisition & Engagement teams and Category teams to benchmark selection and pricing on 1K, identify pricing gaps and work with multiple stakeholders to bridge gaps

- Work with the Customer acquisition and engagement team to define a charter for engagement initiatives such as Deals, customer-segment-specific stores and campaigns to drive active rates (both for customers and sellers) and repeat purchases

- Engage with marketplace and product teams to roll out initiatives to improve Customer experience and Seller experience.

- Setup scalable reports and communication channels to drive desirable behavior among the entire seller base.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualification : Tier-I/II MBA

Experience : 3-5 Years of Category Management in E-Commerce companies
