Testing practice manager to strengthen overall TCoE offerings and Pre-sales activities.
Job Description:
- Ensure maturity and depth of the specialized testing practice within the TCoE
- Formulation of test strategy for different technology platforms as well as industry domains
- Pick-up industry trends in terms of best practices and value added services
- Enhance and deliver service offerings within identified areas
- Creation of frameworks, collaterals, assets and people capabilities
- Domain and technical thought leadership within testing space
- Develop testing solutions and frameworks to meet testing business requirements
- Testing Solution Architect - Responsible for Solutioning overall testing RFPs and consulting for various industry domains
- Develop strong understanding about industry domain and demands
- Proven expertise in overall testing services offering and should be able to create differentiators
- Deep experience in Manual testing, Test Automation and other value added testing services
- Drive proposal requirements and pre-sales support
- Promote innovations and drive process improvements
- Provides strategic direction for specialized testing services.
- Communicates vision to all stakeholders, seeks support for goals where needed.
- Support for strategic plan for technology and business activities.
- Assists managers in the development of implementation plans and addresses obstacles to the execution of the plan
- Controls progress to goals and objectives through regular status reporting.
- Develops vision for business continuation activities
- Provides consultative assistance to senior leadership
- Leads and actively participates in the annual goal planning process for overall business development activities within testing space
- Initiates, defines and implements changes to standards and procedures.
- Develops and maintains technical, analytical and practical proficiencies needed to ensure the optimal application of current technologies.
- Ability to understand market trends, discussing new revenue streams, building new service lines and supporting sales
Candidate Profile:
- 8 -11 years of overall experience
- Must have strong Testing delivery experience and process consulting experience
- Must have strong experience in testing - estimations, Methodologies, Strategies and managing stakeholder expectations
- Ability to work in collaboration with different teams, strategic and management group
- Must have testing pre-sales experience (Responding to RFPs, prepare and drive client presentations, Demos, etc.)
- Articulation of solutions and engagement models
- Value propositions of the solutions in terms of $ savings/outcomes to customers
- Understanding of sales processes specifically for US markets
