Lead / Sr Manager - Analytics  About Ninjacart :   We are a fast growing start-up, building next generation online market for fruits, vegetables, pulses and staples. We enable farmers and producers to sell directly to retail stores by providing a selling platform and assisting in warehousing and fulfillment.   Our primary aim is to remove the middlemen, commission agents and auction agents in mandis and provide an efficient price discovery platform and supply chain for the producers.  We have been funded by India's biggest VC firm Accel Partners (Portfolio Companies: Flipkart, Myntra, Taxi for Sure etc) and Qualcomm Ventures (Portfolio Companies: Xiaomi, Housing, Traffline, Portea etc)  We are looking for exceptional individuals to lead our Analytics Team in Bangalore  Responsibilities :   - Lead an analytics team dedicated to provide data driven strategic direction to various teams by understanding the nuances of their operations  - Mentor and coach a high-performing team of Analysts. Hire and develop additional talented analysts.  - Work closely with the Operations, BD, Account Management, Product and Technology teams to develop world class systems and processes  - You are responsible for bringing to bear analytical tools and techniques to help exceed business goals. This involves managing a team of analysts to deploy analytical solutions for the business  - You will independently ideate, conceptualize, develop and deploy analytical solutions to create business impact in Ninjacart  - You will leverage business context and data analytics skills to define the business problem to be solved, develop methodology and roadmap, formulate analytical approach and define data gathering approach,  - Demonstrate excellence in engagement delivery, insightful thought-leadership, strategic problem solving, high impact team management and strong customer relations at senior executive levels.  - Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise analytic managers, project team members and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.  Preferred Qualifications :   - Degree in Engineering/Statistics/Mathematics/Economics or any quantitative domain, or MBA from a premier institute   - 2+ years of experience in business analytics, current location - Bangalore  - Absolute proficiency in SQL, including highly complex queries requiring significant optimization.  - Working knowledge of statistics; experience with R, SAS or similar a plus  - Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and to meet changing deadlines and priorities on multiple simultaneous projects  - Strong promoter of technology driven solutions  - Excellent working knowledge and understanding of all key aspects of a typical business - product, marketing, operations and finance  - Excellent analytical abilities: Data driven and pay attention to details. Comfortable with statistical modeling on large data sets  - People management skills: Ability to build, lead and mentor large teams of analysts
