Job Description:

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for overseeing the operational aspects of the company and driving its overall efficiency, growth, and profitability. The COO will collaborate closely with other senior leaders to develop and execute strategic initiatives that align with the company's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operational Strategy: Develop and implement operational strategies that support the company's overall mission and objectives. Lead efforts to streamline processes, optimize resources, and improve operational efficiency.

- Team Leadership: Provide strong leadership and direction to the operational teams, including but not limited to, manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, and customer service. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

- Financial Management: Work closely with the CFO to develop and manage operational budgets, forecasts, and financial plans. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance and identify areas for improvement.

- Quality and Compliance: Ensure that the company meets all quality standards and regulatory requirements. Implement and maintain effective quality control processes to safeguard product/service quality and customer satisfaction.

- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate operational risks that may impact the company's reputation, financial stability, or ability to deliver products/services. Develop and implement contingency plans to minimize disruptions.

- Technology and Innovation: Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in technology. Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance operational effectiveness and drive innovation.

- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other senior leaders to align operational strategies with sales, marketing, and product development initiatives. Foster strong relationships across departments to promote teamwork and communication.

- Performance Evaluation: Establish clear performance metrics and goals for the operational teams. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to ensure high performance and accountability.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is preferred.

- 12 - 15 years of experience in operational leadership roles, with a proven track record of driving results in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business objectives into actionable plans.

- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.

- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, analyze financial data, and make data-driven decisions.

- Experience in [Telecom, Automobiles , EdTech, Electricals, Green Energy (EV) industries, or relevant sectors] is preferred.
