Responsibilities:-
- Understand the behaviour of the visitors on the website and ensure increase in return visits /reduction in bounce rate/ lead generation / remarketing campaigns.
- Execute tests, analyse data, identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI in paid search campaigns
- Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine marketing
- Track, report, and analyze website analytics and PPC initiatives and campaigns
- Manage Google Webmaster Tools and work with Tech team to fix errors.
- Identify possible on-site improvements and coordinate tests to measure impact on rankings.
- Continuously optimize and update site content/features, including META data, page content,and articles to ensure maximum rankings for targeted keywords
- Perform on going keyword discovery, expansion and optimization
- Work with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation.
- Correlate both link building initiatives and on-site changes to rankings/ Research and analyze competitor advertising links/Develop and implement link building strategy
- Monitor, assess and react to competitor strategies.
- Stay abreast of new natural search engine optimization developments and opportunities in the SEO domain and incorporate into on-going campaign management
- Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO
Requirements
- Proven SEO experience
- Knowledge on SEM managing PPC campaigns across Google, Yahoo and Bing.
- Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition
- In-depth experience with website analytics tools
- Solid analytical skills with key performance metrics is a must. Good understanding of Google Analytics /Google Webmaster Tools/Google Tag Manager etc
- Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
- Complete knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
- Good understanding of coding, search engine algorithms, and website architecture from an SEO perspective with the ability to provide ideal recommendations.
- SEO copywriting best practices knowledge for on-page and off-page copy.
- SEO knowledge of various platforms including mobile and tablet in addition to desktop.
