Job Description:
- Responsible for Pan India Procurement activities (IT & NON - IT)
- Ensure that purchasing strategies and processes are in place to meet business objectives and operational needs in terms of price, quality and delivery targets
- Contribute to overall business strategy and annual budget process
- Take control of purchasing process and any associated documents
- Analyse costs of procurement and suggest methods to optimize expenditure
- Vendor Management - Qualification, Negotiation, Analysis and evaluation
- Optimize sourcing procedures to attain maximum efficiency
- Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries
- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
- Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements
- Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs
Key Skills :
- Strong Leadership Skills
- Excellent Communication skills
- In-depth knowledge of sourcing & procurement principles and best practices
- Proven work experience as a sourcing head or procurement head, And track record of delivering large saving
- Technical knowledge in IT Hardware, Software and Networking solutions
- Should have working knowledge of ERP tool
- Ability to work on financial parlance - Budgets / Controls / processes
