Director-Sales
Experience & Qualification:
- 15 to 18 + years of experience in Sales, Marketing Business development functions.
- Should have led the Sales functions minimum of 5 years with multiple big Business awards
- Bachelor or master's degree or equivalent professional qualification
Responsibilities:
- Supervises in the implementation and coordination of the company-wide business development program.
- Researches and analyzes existing or prospective customer trends within the framework of a business development program.
- Directs plans and analyzes statistics pertinent to the company's business development program and makes recommendations or suggestions as appropriate.
- Defines Product vs Customer strategy
- Understands and addresses Customer pressing needs
- Holds strong voice Customer within the organization and drives the internal team towards meeting Customer expectations.
- Prepares long term & short-term Budgets & Business plans
- Understand the Internal Products technical road maps with Product development teams and makes appropriate Business pitches to Customers
- Works with OEM's at various functions to do the technical sales pitches, POC's and converts the potential opportunity into RFQ
- Responding to RFQ 's in defined timelines with the support of internal stake holders
- Works with OEM's and Internal stake holders to convert RFQ 's into new Business wins,
- By conducting various Business case simulations and finds the optimum solution
- By having strong engagement with Engineering and Purchasing functions at OEM
- By driving VA / VE activities
- Maintaining program profitability by addressing cost escalations through Customer price settlement
- Ensure healthy Account receivables are maintained
- Work closely with Internal & External Stake holders to the manage the Engineering changes on new programs and as well as Current Programs.
- Set functional objectives and drive team to achieve these goals
- Preparation of acquisitions, technical and commercial quotations
- Negotiation of license and pricing models
- Positioning the product in cost and features to establish market share
- Build up Network with decision makers in Automotive Industry in area of Infotainment and Sound Systems
- Preparation of interfaces to and contracts with partners and technology providers

- Well Developed Network into automotive Industry, preferably Vehicle Electronics
