RESPONSIBILITIES Project Management: - Prioritisation of projects on the basis of perceived business impact. - Enable efficient project execution through effective allocation of people and resources. - Timely completion of key analysis projects within the company Business and Product Alignment: - Determining analytics scope of key business and product requirements. - Formulating success metrics of strategic business and product initiatives. - Understand key business and product initiatives by working closely with key stakeholders. Team Management: - Building a central analytics team with the objective of it being among the best in the country. - Lead a team of 5-6 business analysts working across 2 business streams. - Mentor the analytics team and constantly strive to improve the team capabilities Organisational Goals: - Drive a culture of deep problem solving in the team. - Enable decision making for senior leadership by streamlining the measurement of KPIs and identify the key drivers of these KPIs. - Champion and rally the organisation around BI. REQUIREMENTS Experience: - A minimum of 5 years of experience in the Analytics team of a product-based tech company. - A minimum of 2 years of experience leading an analytics team of at least 5 members. Technical Skills: - Strong background in statistical modelling techniques with a background in data mining/machine learning tools such as SQL, Python, R and Excel. - A high degree of expertise in building insightful business dashboards and ML/AI models. - Working experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Qlikview etc. and knowledge of how to set these tools up as well.
