Job Description: We are looking for Lead Product Security Engineer. In this role, you will be the go-to expert in information security disciplines with the expertise and wide understanding of security architecture, processes, alignment to stakeholder teams, and accountability for effective measurement of security metrics. You will be leading and executing technically complex security initiatives and path to achieving ISO 27001 certification for our Nextgen product. Come and be part of a growth team. Key Responsibilities: - Senior Cyber Security Engineer will be responsible for performing manual & automated application security assessments and communicating the findings to the Development, QA and DevOps teams. - You will provide application design support , security best practice guidance and checklists, in the form of consultations, to various development teams and Business stakeholders. - Conduct Vulnerability Assessments for Network and Application, Penetration Testing, Hardening, Application Security. - We, at Newage, believe that Security is EVERYONE's responsibility and you will be holding the reigns to promote and lead "Secure by Design" principles Candidate Profile: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or other related discipline; equivalent experience may be acceptable. - Excellent knowledge of Information Security standards(ISO/IEC 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, PCI-DSS), frameworks, and best practices for enterprise environments. Expert level experience in many of the following, with some level of experience or knowledge in other areas: 1. Database Security & Monitoring: Experience in solution design, engineering, testing and deployment 2. Host-based Security Monitoring: Hands on engineering, testing and deployment experience 3. Security Monitoring Infrastructure: Strong experience in engineering, implementing and configuring SIEM tools. Experience in scripting on both Unix and Windows. Good understanding of the logging/auditing systems used by major vendors, including those on Operating Systems, Databases and Network side. 4. Network: Excellent understanding of TCP/IP networking fundamentals. Good understanding of NAC and VPN technologies. Basic understanding of multifactor authentication systems and how to integrate them in an enterprise environment. 5. Firewall and Malware: Good understanding of Firewall, web proxy and Network IDS technologies. Prior experience in testing, configuring and deploying enterprise level antivirus infrastructure. 6. Cloud and Virtualization: Hands on experience with deploying solutions in AWS & Azure Cloud environments. Good knowledge and understanding of cloud technologies, Jenkins, CI/CD pipeline, Docker/ Container orchestration Kubernetes with the ability to deploy solutions into a cloud service securely. 7. Integration with Active Directory and other Enterprise systems: Hands-on experience in integrating solutions with enterprise security solutions such as the Active Directory, privileged access management systems, SIEM and other monitoring systems. Good understanding of DNS, Web Proxy, E-mail infrastructure and other network services and how to integrate with them. 8. Security Tools: Proficient with common security tools (Metasploit, Nexpose, Nessus, burpsuite, nmap, netcat, hping3) Good to have skills: - Security certifications such as CISSP, OSCP, CCSP, CEH, GIAC, CISA a plus - Understanding of logistics industry or Supply chain management domain Newage is an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
