Location: Bangalore

1. Ideate innovative product ideas and collaborate with project teams to create new products from conceptualisation to commercialisation.

2. Design and develop scientifically researched, easy to scale-up functional food formulations, as per the capabilities for In-house or third party manufacturing.

3. Develop cost optimised formulations using indigenous ingredients that generate, efficacy, USP's, product stories and claims.

4. Designing formulations by maximizing the incorporation of herbal extracts without compromising on the taste and consumer acceptability.

5. Planning, guiding and mentoring of formulation development batches to achieve product robustness.

6. Coordination with global hubs to understand their product requirements and assist in development of products exceeding consumer expectation and meeting regulatory requirements.

7. Closely collaborate with analytical team to design experiments for product understanding, development of ingredient and finished product specifications as well as shelf-life studies.

8. Integration of food products into pharmaceutical manufacturing and quality assurance protocols.

9. Review the technology transfer documents.

10. Understand the FSSAI regulations related to functional foods and help develop Nutritional label and functional claims.

11. Provide formulation and nutrition related USP's to marketing and drug discovery teams for preparing Pre and/or Post launch activities.

12. Reply to formulation related consumer queries as and when required.

13. Help in technology transfer and process optimization at third party manufacturing locations, as necessary.

14. Troubleshoot product and process challenges arising at commercial manufacturing sites.
