Network18 is India's leading media and entertainment conglomerate with interests in television, internet, filmed entertainment, the e-commerce marketplace, magazines, mobile content and allied businesses.  Roles & Responsibilities :   - Sourcing Deals: Identify the companies that fit well with the strategic objective of the Capital18. Build a relationship with their Founders/Promoters, evaluate the business models and propose partnership opportunities.  - Deal Closure: Structuring the equity deal with the promoter including valuation. Negotiate detailed terms of the deal including legal agreement.  - Investment Case: Prepare detailed presentation and proposal note to build the business case for the equity investment and get Investment Committee's buy in to invest.  - Legal and Statuary: Ensure signing of legal agreement and compliance with the audit process of signing the deal.  - Portfolio Management: Work with investee companies to drive their business growth by bringing the value-add through business strategy recommendation, professional network and investor connects.  - Ecosystem Relationship: Build the relationship with VC and angel investment community to generate leads and co-investment opportunities.  - Market Intelligence: Keep track of the market developments and recommend opportunities for the growth of Capital18.  Knowledge & Skills :  - Experience of executing VC/PE deals including legal agreements  - Business development & client management  - Excellent oral and written communication  Education & Experience :  - MBA with specialization in Finance or Marketing  - 7-10 experience of working in VC fund, PE fund or Investment Banking
