Network Architect & Head Engineering

Job Description :

- Responsible for designing computer networks, including local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), the Internet, intranets, and other data communications systems. Creates, tests, and evaluates networks.

Primary Responsibilities :

- Analyze business requirements to develop technical network solutions and their framework

- Design, test, and inspect data communications systems

- Perform network modeling, analysis, and planning

- Confirmation of all installations to defined architecture

- Develop technology roadmaps

- Develop test plans, implementation plans, and project timelines for various projects

- Manage technology vendors

- Stay abreast of how technology infrastructures are currently impacting and driving competitors

- Determine production direction

- Write functional requirements/specifications documents

- Assess vendor development/test strategies

- Focus on Network Automations

- Perform network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common network problems

- Upgrade network hardware and software components as required

- Solve complex problems with many variables

Key Engineering Skill :

Wifi Engineering :

- Knowledge and experience in Wifi standards 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/d, hotspot 2.0

- Deployment experience in wifi authentication standards AAA, TACACS, client centric & network centric

- Wireless infrastructure deployment/ build out, Indoor/outdoor Wifi, MIMO/OFDM, Beam Forming

- Wireless Network Integration WISP, PTP, PTMP, Mesh, Backhaul designing

- Conceptual knowledge on Wireless Broadband DSLAM, MSAN, Dial-up,

- Experience in LAN and WAN network & deployment of Cisco router/switches,

- RF Management, Site survey active/passive, experience in Airtmagnet or similar tool

- Experience in Cisco controller configuration and troubleshooting

- Responsible to architect the Enterprise Wireless network and document the reference architecture

- Design solution for Wifi network for delivery function

- Understand Wireless Security configuration, WIPS, Rogue detection

- Thorough comprehension of fundamental networking protocols including TCP, STP, ARP, Ethernet, OSPF, etc.

- Experience supporting or testing LANs, VLANs, WLANs, VPNs, NAT devices, &/or DHCP servers.

- Worked on Wireless technologies to debug at packet level and understand the 802.11 frame header

- Experience in identifying laptop hardware and Operating system related wifi issue and create KEDB

SDN Engineering :

- Good in Configuration & Troubleshooting Network routing protocols like BGP, OSPF and EIGRP.

- Good in QoS, wireless and LAN switching technology and experience Campus switching implementation.

- Skilled in handling all switching technologies VLAN, Trunking, STP, HSRP

- Good in All latest Cisco range of high end Core switch and Router Hardware

- Scripting Languages TCL, Shell Scripting, Perl, Python, Other Languages MySQL, PHP script, Javascript, HTML,CSS & Linux, Unix, and Windows OS

- Networking Protocol VLAN, IGMP, MPLS, OSPF, HSRP and experience in open network OS like Pica8, Big switch, Cumulus
