- The candidate will play a critical role in defining and driving the new products vision and strategy.
Role and responsibilities:
- Leads new product development through concepting, specification, feature prioritization Follows industry trends and competitor activity Collaborates and build strong partnerships with internal product, technology, marketing, and sales teams to scope, define, and execute new product development Specify market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going customer and prospect interaction, working with customer support, and analysing competitive intelligence TPM and other cross functional teams to ensure realization of product vision.
- Act as the voice of the customer to deliver the industry leading user experience. Skills & Knowledge Embedded software Development experience (Knowledge about BSP, multimedia, audio, video and connectivity technologies) Excellent communication skills (verbal and written); Strong Project management skills; Agile methodologies Group facilitation skills Be a self-starter
- A highly motivated person able to work in a fast-paced changing environment Competencies Product Management Customer/Client Focus Collaboration Skills Problem Solving/Analysis Strategic Thinking Decision Making Qualifications Bachelors/Masters degree required 8+ years of product management experience including strategic planning and implementation required; experience in defining embedded SW projects is preferred.
