Overview :

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Finance Lead/Manager to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of our financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely reporting,and providing strategic financial guidance to support our organization's growth.

Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

- Lead the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) in accordance with GAAP principles.

- Perform variance analysis and financial modeling to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

- Develop and maintain annual operating budgets and forecasts for all IT departments.

- Monitor budget performance and adjust forecasts as needed.

- Analyze cost drivers and identify opportunities for cost reduction.

Accounting & Accounts Payable:

- Oversee the accounts payable process and ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors.

- Manage reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.

- Implement and maintain efficient accounting systems and processes.

Project Management:

- Lead and manage financial aspects of IT projects, including budgeting, tracking expenses, and reporting on project profitability.

- Partner with project managers to ensure financial goals are met.

Team Leadership and Mentorship:

- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and support.

- Recruit, train, and develop finance team members.

- Create a positive and collaborative work environment.

Strategic Financial Planning & Analysis:

- Support the development and implementation of long-term financial strategies for the IT department.

- Participate in strategic planning initiatives and provide financial expertise.

- Analyze market trends and their impact on the IT business.

Qualifications:

- Degree in accounting or finance required.

- 5+ years of experience in a financial leadership role within an IT firm or related industry.

- Strong understanding of accounting principles and GAAP.

- Proven ability to develop and maintain accurate financial reports and forecasts.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Proficiency in financial software applications (e.g., ERP systems, Excel).

- Experience with budgeting and forecasting tools preferred.

- Experience with project management methodologies preferred.

- CMA or CPA certification a plus.
