Role Summary:
The Senior Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities related to data analytics and AI services. This role requires staying on top of industry trends, building relationships with prospects, managing the sales cycle, and hitting monthly/quarterly targets.
Responsibilities:
- Research and identify new potential clients for the company's data analytics and AI consulting and services
- Initiate contact with prospects, explain our offerings, understand their needs, and work to develop meaningful relationships
- Manage and progress opportunities through the sales pipeline
- Craft proposals, pricing models, and presentations tailored to each prospect's needs
- Consult with internal teams (engineering, product, etc) to properly scope and estimate potential projects
- Negotiate and close deals to achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets
- Continuously expand industry knowledge staying up-to-date on data/AI trends and innovations
- Represent the company at industry events, seminars, and conferences
Skills and Qualifications:
- 10+ years experience in a business development role, preferably selling data analytics and AI services
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed revenue targets
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Strong strategic thinking and account management skills
- Experience working with technical teams to scope analytics/AI projects
- Knowledge of data analytics, machine learning, and AI concepts and applications
- Degree in Business, Technology, or a related field
