In pursuit of this goal, we are looking for a Solution Architect to provide leadership and development for our rapidly expanding and focused technology needs as we move from being a tech-enabled service to a tech product company. We are looking for a creative technology leader that has an intrinsic motivation for education and brings knowledge of product development, big data, engineering and IT. What You- ll Do:

- Drive and deliver solutions with sound architecture, security, performance and stability.

- Recommend and implement specific technologies, standards, methods and techniques for the technical team.

- Research and create proof of concepts as individual modules to be implemented on the primary platform.

- Research and implement new technologies and keep the platform updated.

- Create detailed technical design specifications, high level design, use cases and work with the development and testing teams to deliver solutions.

- Design and implement software solutions for new platform development and also support the live platform to resolve any defects and issues reported.

- Re-factor the current platform design and/or implementation to support platform enhancement requests.

- Create Data models and UML diagrams for the development team.

What skills you should have:

- Understand architecture principles, design patterns and have ability to provide solutions based on them.

- Be excellent at problem decomposition.

- Decompose requirements in achievable components.

- Must understand interfaces, protocols, function libraries.

- Good communicator, writer and documenter.

- Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills.

- Sound analysis, problem resolution, team building, judgment and decision-making skills.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

- Ability to think ahead and anticipate problems, issues and solutions.

What technical skills you should have:

- ASP.NET 4.0 (C#) MVC, ASP.NET Core

- JQuery /JavaScript/ Angular, Bootstrap

- SQL Server 2008/2012 (Transact SQL, Stored Procedures, Triggers)

- Security Framework

- REST Web services

- Strong HTML background

- AJAX Techniques

- Entity Frameworks and LINQ HTML5,

- Razor View engine

- Data Modeling and UML

- Object oriented programming knowledge is a must

- Experience with cloud computing (Azure) is a plus
