Technical Project Manager - IT
- Head the IT function of the company
- Gather requirements from various teams in the company, draft Requirements Documents that can be handed over to development teams
- Based on the requirements, decide which technology and systems will this feature set be best suited to develop in
- Float the requirements, get quotes from vendors and finalize the vendor, negotiate best price
- Manage the development process from the company's side
- Coordinate among multiple development teams that serve and consume APIs, manage conflicts that may arise
- Schedule regular calls among the development teams and check status, resolve issues
- Perform User Acceptance Testing of the product / software released for this purpose and document bugs found, coordinate among company teammates as well for this
- Schedule deployment by ascertaining down time, minimizing it, scheduling it to ensure minimal disruption to work and communicating to users
- Verifying issues reported and escalating to development teams, ensuring bugs are fixed and deployed as soon as possible
- Be the Reporting Manager for the Infrastructure team which is a set of System Administrators that manage the IT infrastructure in the various centres
- Sound knowledge of web based and mobile application development, ERP implementation, SQL queries
- Should have experience in collecting business requirements from stakeholders and drafting Requirements Documents for the development team
- Should have experience in managing a team of web based, and mobile application developers, ERP implementers and QA team members
- Should be flexible in taking on additional responsibilities provided they are within the broad domain of work
