- Take overall responsibility of the IT function in the company

- Manage all software development activities

- Drive overall vision of the IT solutions the company is using

- Co-ordinate among different vendors developing different software systems

- Drive the interaction between the vendors to ensure smooth workflows

- Draft Requirements based on the needs of the internal teams

- Negotiate prices quoted and ensure reasonable billing

- Ensure quality of the solutions and products delivered

- Find new vendors who may be needed from time to time

- Manage all the IT Infrastructure in the company

- Manage the internal team of System Administrators

- Drive the security and safety plan of the IT infrastructure

- Ensure that all systems are adequately protected against current and emerging threats

- Drive ITGC compliance

- Take a long-term view of the IT infrastructure and make plans proactively to modernise it
