NeoGrowth - Circle Credit Head

Job Profile:-

- The position will be a core member of the Leadership Team, will work very closely with the CEO, Promoters and participate in the vision and goal of the organisation.

- The position offers excellent exposure and growth potential to a professional who would like to join the core team engaged in expanding a nationwide organization, and participate in its growth.

- The position involves heading the Credit (Underwriting) Function in NeoGrowth, and will be the responsible for assessment and approval of Credit to the SME segment (largely Merchants) as well as monitoring.

Key Responsibilities :-

- Excellent analytical and communication skills

- Leading a large team with presence across India

- Responsible for evaluation of credit-worthiness of applicants

- Design & draft credit process/procedures

- From time to time, suggest modifications required in Credit policy

- Support development of Credit Scorecards, auto-approval mechanisms

- From time to time, suggest alternate data sources for underwriting of applicants

- Implement best practices for fraud detection

- Maintain portfolio loss within values/targets set by the management

Qualification & Experience

- Qualification: CA or MBA Finance from tier 1/tier 2 institute

- Experience: 15+ years of experience in a NBFC/Bank handling the credit appraisal and approval of small to mid size loans to trade and to business enterprises (including unsecured loans). Our product is primarily targeted at Merchant & Retail establishments.

- Must be strong in Compliance and have an understanding of the Regulatory framework.

- Should have hands on exposure in Credit assessment, appraisal, administration of the credit policies, portfolio management/surveillance & credit scoring.

- Candidate should have the resilience to deal with ambiguity and the issues related to it.

- It is preferred that the candidate has exposure to new age digital lending
