You will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with our partners/alliances and acquire customers through these partners for the Paylater product.  - As a Business Development manager, you should work with partners & their organisation to acquire new customers, keep them updated on acquisition metrics, respond to their queries in a timely manner and aspire to deliver a positive partner & customer experience alongside delivering the target acquisition plan.  Responsibilities :   - Handle a portfolio of partners for the product and segment type.  - Onboard new partners and handhold the Lead to fulfilment process for them  - Work in conjunction with partners to generate leads and fulfil applications as well generate transactions  - Report internally and to partners on the status of leads/applications  - Set and track sales targets, aligned with company objectives  - Monitor sales metrics (e.g. monthly/quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)  - Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth  Requirements :   - 2-5 years work experience as a Business Development manager in a third party channel/key accounts sales set-up in the financial sector - Insurance, Banks, NBFCs, Organised Retail  - Hands on experience in sales and an ability to drive sales through a non-direct channel  - Knowledge of CRM software and MS Office (MS Excel in particular)  - Understanding of sales performance metrics  - Excellent communication and negotiation skills  - An ability to deliver projects and answer inquiries on time  - Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude  - A degree in Business administration is preferred
