The ideal candidate is a passionate, self-motivated, and detail-oriented team player who is committed to the success of our customers. You will be responsible for establishing, developing, closing and managing business opportunities for a defined geography. This position is based out of the Bangalore, India office.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect and Identify business opportunities in an assigned region.
- Develop, close and manage business opportunities within the assigned region.
- Identify key customer requirements and coordinate with Nearex's internal teams to submit proposals and negotiate business contracts.
- Create Sales plans which will identify, quantify, and recommend appropriate Sales strategy to address new business opportunities.
- Achieve set goals for the assigned region.
- The position is based out of Bangalore, India, however travel would be required including overseas.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 3 - 5 years Fintech/Payment Industry sales experience with a proven track record.
- Experience of having worked with international customers would be an advantage but not a must.
- Ability to generate leads, identify new business opportunities, open doors, and manage the complete sales process independently.
- Willing to travel.
- Knowledge of the Micropayment market in the emerging economies is preferred but not necessary
