About the Role/Opportunity:  The incumbent will be supporting Nearbuy India's CFO for various day to day activities and strategy projects in Finance.  The work location would be Gurgaon   Job Summary :   - The individual will be leading/supporting the various strategy projects of the Company as the Finance Business Partner. This will include project across Finance, Accounting and Taxation along with finance projects related to Marketing, Technology, Admin, HR and Sales investments.   - The detailed tasks that would be associated with the role are given below. While the role would involve ensuring that the tasks (mentioned below) are executed across offices by the relevant teams involved, constant governance of the same and ensuring on time execution would be the key responsibilities.  Detailed tasks would include:   A. Financial Strategy and Operations  Overall - Support the CFO for finance business partnering with various divisions. Working on various financial initiatives/projects related to e-commerce finance e.g. strategies with Online marketing agencies, Payment Gateways etc.  - Working within the department to ensure error free accounting, issue less audit and compliance are in place.  - Working on building efficiency on various sub-processes within the finance function.  - Marketing Finance - Analyze and review financial viability of various online and offline marketing initiatives taken up by the Company.  - Technology Finance - Analyze and review financial viability of various technology projects taken up by the Company.  - Assist the Finance team for negotiations in various cost saving initiatives with proper coordination with functional business heads.  - Assisting the Finance team with various ideas in improving Working capital management of the Company with innovative ideas.  - Assist the CFO in overall direct and indirect taxation strategy initiatives in India and other countries.  - Assist the CFO in devising the complete deal structure taxation for difference categories amount thousands of merchants across India.  - Work on new deal structure and set up merchant payment systems for the new business initiatives taken by the Company.  - Assist in various rounds of fund-raise - Business plans, valuation, investor presentations, term sheets, negotiations, legal documents, liaising with bankers/ lawyers etc.  - Investor relations- business intelligence, how the company is pacing up, deployment of capital, value drivers etc.  - Assisting the CFO is initiating and reviewing various HR investments in the Company i.e. Recruitment Strategy, Employee well-being projects, Compensation and Benefits plans etc.  - Carry out employee surveys before going ahead with various employees related projects.  - Become a part of Salary structuring team of the Company to get maximum possible tax benefits to the employees across India. Assist in preparing the complete Capex Strategy for all Company Asset Investments.  - Become an integral member of cost saving initiatives team for offices across India.  - Be part of the negotiations team for various projects being invested into by the Company.  B. Taxation Strategy  - Assist the CFO in overall direct and indirect taxation strategy initiatives in India and other countries.  - Assist the CFO in devising the complete deal structure taxation for difference categories amount thousands of merchants across India.  - Work on new deal structure and set up merchant payment systems for the new business initiatives taken by the Company.  C. Individual applying to the role should ideally have the following attributes:  Mandatory Qualification - Chartered Accountant (Rank Holder Preferred)  Added Qualification - MBA (Finance) from a premier Institute  - Minimum 4 to 6 years of experience, recognised expertise in the field of finance  - High proficiency with Excel   - Excellent written and oral communication skills  - Should have good mathematical/computational skills  - Strong and innovative approach to problem solving and finding solutions  - Flexible and proactive/self-motivated working style with strong personal ownership of problem resolution  - Ability to multi-task under pressure and work independently with minimal supervision  - Ability to prioritize when under pressure  B.
