NDTV Auto - Product Analyst - Product Development

Job Description :

- We are looking for an experienced Product Analyst who is passionate about building products that people love.

- You would be the single point of contact on a significant segment of our product and would be responsible for realizing our vision from inception to completion.

- You must have an entrepreneurial mindset, be a well rounded generalist, and have deep experience and understanding of how technology companies work.

- You must have a data driven approach and possess the zeal to constantly improve and learn from mistakes or past errors.

- The ideal candidate must have the capability to communicate and empathize with people from diverse domains such as Design (UI/UX), Technology, Business, Sales, Marketing etc and be an agent who improves collaboration between them, thereby enabling us in creating the best product possible.

Responsibilities :

- Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps, generate new ideas and implement them end-to-end thereby improving customer experience and driving growth

- Must be involved end-to-end and take ownership of the product development process, which includes fundamental research, ideation, design, technical implementation, verification and improvements based on data driven iterations

- Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and constantly iterate to validate ideas

- Assess market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products

- Not afraid to experiment, fail and learn from mistakes (the last part is most critical)

- Must be receptive to divergent points of view and provide a space for people to air their ideas

- Use technology creatively in crafting solutions that improves people's lives

Desired Capabilities :

- BS/MS in Computer Science / Engineering or MBA

- Proven track record in Product Development

- Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams

- Good understanding of Automotive Industry Trends and Knowledge and Internet Services is desirable

- Excellent communication skills and experience in technical writing are necessary

- Experience in shipping quality products over many years/iterations is an advantage, especially if you had built it from scratch

- Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies is a plus
