NCDEX - Senior Manager - Market Watch

Daily Tasks :

- Ensuring systems are operational and members can connect

- Monitoring Trends and trading patterns in various contract and for various members

- Monitoring and taking action for Pay-in shortages, Base capital shortages, Cash Margin Shortages of members

- Monitoring Hedge Limits and ensuring compliance

- Managing client level violations to ensure that they stay within the limits

- Pay in - Pay out files processing and reporting

- Accurately following processes and SOPs for Beginning of Day and End of Day activities

- Monitoring the trading activities and informing members of any action required from their side.

- Verification of request related to master maintenance

- Reconciliation - Member status

- Monitoring price movement in International commodities & obtaining SEBI approval for relaxing price limits beyond - the permissible limits

- Updation of Daily settlement prices in trading system

- Adding and updating new contracts and contract changes into the system

- Keeping a check on all members collaterals and positions during the day; disabling and enabling members as per their positions

- Tracking concentration of positions/unusual position sizes.

- Ensuring timely preparation of various reports for the SEBI and MIS for management on a daily basis

- All activities relating to members to be executed, such as new user IDs, updating system masters, resetting passwords,

- Managing team and assigning task to various team members

Weekly Tasks :

- Tracking websites of other commodity exchange & keeping latest update on the commodity market

- Updating news, research reports, tracking websites of other commodity exchange websites

- Development of new process/system

- Solving member's queries which are escalated by CSG

- Training to new colleagues

Monthly Tasks :

- Analysis of confidential data relating to members positions in conjunction with data on underlying trends in supply and demand to detect any potential anomalies.

- Assisting in development of new process/system & Participating in Mock trading & system testing

- Compiling Penalty reports

- Imposing Penalty on Members for any Violation and recovering of gains

- Increase the capability to detect market manipulation attempts, to act in a timely manner.

- Maintenance of system files and master files as per monthly calendar

- Non-routine reports, data request and communication with SEBI
