- In order to achieve the vision, we have decided to in-house collections and also initiate customer onboarding (post disbursing loan) activities, and build our in-house presence pan-India. This allows us to
- Gather richer data about the customer and use the same to make our future underwriting decisions smarter
- Have higher control over field collections allowing us to be a higher degree of optimization and customization in terms of the nature of recovery efforts to be used at a customer level while being compliant with all related regulations
- Build stronger customer connect
- This initiative happens to be a first-ever for any bank/NBFC globally (purely because of the operational and strategic complexities involved) build a 1500+ team, decide daily an activity schedule for each member (using data-science-based prioritization), monitor each activity, build and optimize industry-first processes, and run experiments to fine-tune strategy etc. (the list is long!).
- A key requirement for us is to build a team of strong cluster Managers who are self-starters and are excited about building one of the most complex and unique operations divisions in the history of banking.
- The role will report to the Regional Manager and will entail implementing the above vision.
- There will be multiple opportunities to work and collaborate with Sr. Management of Navi across various verticals.
- This position is based out of Surat.
Profile & Competency Pointers :
- Business/Sales/Operations leader with 1-3 years of relevant experience
- Experience with tech-first startups or top FMCGs/Internet preferred
- Entrepreneurial mindset along with an ability to hustle and solve problems on-ground
- Proven experience leading and building on the ground operations
- A strategic mindset, with a well-honed eye for detail, comfortable with data and customer metrics/analytics
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent people management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative management style
- Product Thinking
- Knowledge of local language (Hindi & Gujarati along with English)
- Strong Vendor management skills (1 - 3 years experience in Vendor Management is a Must)
