Assistant Manager : Research & Development - New Product Development

Responsible for conceptualization, planning, and execution of various projects of the PET division including new product development & reengineering/ value addition to existing products.

Responsibilities:

Planning, Coordination, execution, and monitoring of preclinical & clinical trials:

- Supporting preclinical (lab trials)/clinical trials (Pet parent, Veterinarian, University trials) with respect to below activities:

- Literature review

- Concept notes preparation

- Protocol preparation

- Presentations

- Providing Support in trial execution/experimentation

- Monitoring the regular activities

- Data collection, compilation & interpretation

- Periodical Report preparation & review, Coordination with external CRO to meet the demand of cross functional team

- Co-ordination with SME

Scientific Publications:

- Literature review and drafting the manuscript for both preclinical and clinical trials as per the requirement

Technical Support:

- Good documentation and archiving practices

- Training for colleagues/ new recruits

- Product Training presentation

- Updating the product knowledge

- Supporting the technical/sales team wherever required

SKILL & KNOWLEDGE:

Functional Skills:

- Knowledge on new product development process

- Project planning, budgeting, monitoring & execution of preclinical/ clinical/palatability studies

- Clinical biochemistry determination, Clinical observations, Protocol and report preparation, concept note and technical contributions.

- Dossier compilation, Statistical application and interpretation, Literature collection, data compilation, Presentations, SOPs preparations.

- Auditing & review of raw data / processed data / reports/ manuscripts ,Coordinating inhouse/outsourced projects.
