Designation: National Trade Marketing Manager
Position Level: Sr. Manager.
Reporting Authority: GM-Marketing
Job Objective:
- Develop and execute the marketing plan to build brand presence and increase market share
Key Responsibilities:
Business Planning :
- Understand business objectives and develop a Marketing plan.
- Develop and propose marketing budget; monitor adherence to the approved plan and budget
- Develop the annual marketing calendar including event tie-ups, dealer and retailer promotions and other visibility initiatives the organization needs to undertake
- Scan the business environment on a continuous basis to identify, analyse and capture market trends and share the same with Head - Branding and Market Research and Head Sales
Marketing Operations :
- Understand branding guidelines and ensure accurate reflection of brand identify in all marketing initiatives
- Coordinate with local vendors to customize brand creatives to local requirements while ensuring alignment to Corporate guidelines
- Identify events or forums with opportunities for participation by company and inform Head - Branding & Market Research and Sales teams of the same
- Drive execution of the BTL marketing activities in coordination with Sales teams including event tie-ups, dealer and retailer promotions and other visibility initiatives
- Build and effectively manage relationships with local media partners
- Work closely with Sales teams to plan and execute new product launches including development of collateral for dealers and launch events, radio and print promotion etc.
- Monitor adherence to placement and merchandizing norms through regular market audits
- Provide market intelligence to Sales & Operations teams for development of trade marketing schemes
Operational Excellence- Ensure maintenance and updation of detailed documentation and MIS reports on all media related activities
People Management : - Provide inputs for the annual manpower plan and budget of the Marketing team, in consultation with Brand Managers
- Develop the capabilities to take on higher responsibilities while performing the given/in-charge responsibilities at various levels within the functions
- Oversee training of teams to meet the requirements of the role
