National Sales Manager

As they continue to expand their market presence nationwide, they are seeking a dynamic and experienced National Sales Manager to lead their sales organization and drive strategic growth across all product lines. In this pivotal role, NSM will spearhead our sales strategies, foster customer relationships, and inspire a high-performing sales team to achieve exceptional results.

Position Summary:

Reporting directly to the Vice President Sales, the National Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies to maximize revenue, increase market share, and propel our company towards market leadership. NSM will lead, mentor, and motivate a team of regional sales managers and sales representatives, fostering a culture of excellence, customer-centricity, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and increase market penetration for industrial cooling solutions, commercial cooling solutions, and solar thermal solutions.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies with product offerings, pricing strategies, and customer requirements.

- Analyse market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity to identify opportunities for product enhancement, differentiation, and market positioning.

- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote brand awareness, showcase product innovations, and explore new business opportunities.

- Stay abreast of industry developments, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements to anticipate market changes and adapt sales strategies accordingly.

Operational Excellence:

- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and strategic partners to identify new business opportunities and expand market presence in targeted industries.

- Prepare and present regular sales forecasts, budgets, and reports to senior management, providing insights into sales performance, market dynamics, and actionable recommendations for improvement.

- Implement effective sales processes, performance metrics, and CRM systems to drive sales productivity and ensure data-driven decision-making.

Leadership and People Management:

- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of regional sales managers and sales representatives to drive performance excellence and exceed sales goals across all product lines.

- Conduct regular sales meetings, performance reviews, and training sessions to foster teamwork, communication, and professional development within the sales organization.

- Promote a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and customer-centricity within the sales team.

- Uphold the company's values, ethical standards, and commitment to customer satisfaction in all interactions and business dealings.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in sales leadership roles within the industrial cooling, commercial cooling, or solar thermal industry, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.

- Extensive knowledge of industrial cooling solutions, commercial cooling solutions, and solar thermal solutions, with a deep understanding of industry dynamics, market trends, and customer needs.

- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans, build and maintain strong customer relationships, and lead high-performing sales teams in a competitive market environment.

- Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse sales team to deliver outstanding results.

- Analytical mind-set with proficiency in sales forecasting, data analysis, and performance metrics to identify trends, assess opportunities, and make informed business decisions.

- Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate market changes, adapt to evolving customer needs, and capitalize on emerging opportunities to gain a competitive advantage.

- Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office suite, and other sales management tools.

- Willingness to travel frequently and work flexible hours as needed to meet business requirements and support sales team activities nationwide.
