National Sales Manager

We are a $12 billion Japanese Consulting company headquartered in Tokyo catering to Mid-Senior level positions across industry verticals.

One of our Japanese Client is looking for National Sales Manger position for their Press Die business unit. This Company is Japan's no 1 component supplier and started its operation in India 5 years back. Following are the details :

Position: National Sales Manager

Location: Pune

Experience : 8- 10 years with at least 5 years of experience managing a direct sales force of regional / national base.

Qualification: B.Tech/M.Tech - Mechanical

Over all Responsibility:

- National Sales Manager for Press Dies Business Unit (NSM) will be responsible for the sales of standard components for press dies on the PAN India basis to meet or exceed annual sales goals.

- The NSM will be also responsible for leading a sales team of Press Dies Business Unit and for managing relationships with functional departments to effectively achieve sales objectives.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Develop, coach and lead a sales team of Press Dies Business Unit toward achievement of annual sales objectives.

2. Develop and implement a series of sales projects to achieve annual sales goals.

3. Manage to meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts.

4. Develop competencies and processes required to create an effective and efficient sales organization.

5. Develop and coach sales regional managers as an immediate boss.

6. Cultivate and maintain effective business relationships with top managements in large key accounts.

7. Provide sales management, budget control, compensation programs and incentive planning.

8. Ensure effective hiring, orientation, training, development and retention of sales staff.

9. Provide supervision through field visits, customer meetings, observations and measurement of results of efforts of sales personnel.

10. Proactively identify changes in delivery systems, and competitive pressures to develop and modify strategies and tactics accordingly.

11. Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts and compare the same with actual results and derive solutions for variances.

12. Effectively collaborate with functional departments (CS, Logistics and Finance) to develop solutions for business process improvements

13. Maintain competitive knowledge to create and adjust sales strategies.

14. Perform all other duties as needed or required to maintain and grow sales within the assigned territory.
