National Sales Manager - Pharma (15-20 yrs)

- Will have direct reporting of 4-5 direct reports from across the country. Of which, 2 Zonal Managers directly and remaining 2 are senior profiles from East and South. Position will report in to the India Head of Sales & Marketing.

- Should have handled average business of at least 3 Crores per month and an ability and competency to grow business volumes to 5-6 Crores per month.. with the 'right' set of behaviours and process approach.

- He will be heading the sales function and play the role of a catalyst and galvanize /build a team of RMs /ABMs and strong field force to achieve the sales targets and growth objectives of the Pediatric Business .

- He has to be highly motivated individual with a entrepreneurial drive to excel and accustomed to working in a highly competitive environment and exposed to both medical and consumer business.

- The business being in a nascent and evolving stage, he would be instrumental in assisting the BU Head in setting performance /hygiene standards and benchmarks, a healthy work culture in the team - essential to achieve the ambitious growth objectives of the business

Key Responsibilities:

1. Achievement of primary and secondary sales targets and growth objectives

2. Ensure efficient execution of demand generation programmes to increase Rxber/ and consumer base and maximize per capita

3. Collections/Management of accounts receivables

4. Management of promotional budgets and costs

5. Forecasting accuracy for Sales and Inventory planning/control

6. Ensure implementation of SFE norms and standards set - thru appropriate HCP and retail execution strategies

7. Control attrition and build a motivated,and committed sales team thru a culture of achievement orientation, recognition and reward

8. Implementation of CRM and KOL engagement plans in conjunction with marketing and medical affaris team

9. Will need to work in tandem with the Trade team in driving combined targets and implementing merchandising initiatives


- Should be a peoples person with Strong team building/ nurturing and mentoring capabilities

- Enthusiastic with strong interpersonal and communication skills and a high achievement orientation

- Strong commercial accumen and understanding of the commercial/ trade practices in a medical /consumer /retail environment
