National Sales Manager - OEM
Background of the organisation : It is a leading manufacturer of ball and roller bearings for the industrial market. Manufactured and have world-class facility in india they work with OEMs and end-users to increase uptime while keeping the costs down.
Position : National Sales Manager - OEM
Job Purpose:To drive profitable growth of the area and achieve business results for OEM &Distribution,Exports, Agency division sales as per the Business Plan & Score Card.Sales activity/ Pan india and you would be responsible for sales OEMs distribution channel management concerned, Sales product management
Principal Accountabilities
Strategic:-
- Monitor domestic & international market conditions, market Intelligence for assigned products with specific references to competitor's product, prices & delivery to improve the market share.
- Build & strengthen corporate brand.
- To suggest the management about the new business opportunities in the nascent markets aligned with existing manufacturing capabilities and growth plans.
- Prepare short & long term brand promotion strategies.
- Prepare short & long term business development strategies.
- Establish & implement marketing policies, goals, objectives and procedures, conferring with organization officials and staff members as necessary.
Operations:-
- You will be chief of the Sales & Marketing setup in company.
- Oversee activities directly related to marketing products & fulfilling clients order.
- You should also ensure that a strong and performing dealership network within India is established.
- Direct marketing activities & coordinate with production, quality, and procurement departments.
- Plan and direct sales & sales promotion activities.
- Perform administrative duties, such as preparing sales budgets, reports, keeping sales record, and filling marketing expense account reports.
Financial:
- Direct & coordinate marketing activities to achieve sales target.
- Review sales reports and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement.
- Set prices & credit terms based upon the prevailing market conditions & opportunities.
- Set marketing budget in consultation with the Management.
People
- MotivateSales Managers, Sales Engineers and marketing staff to achieve higher results
- Determine marketing staff requirements, interview, hire and train new staff.
- Mentor and coach subordinates to develop the team capabilities & build a strong succession pipeline for the role.
Key Result Areas
- Achieve order booking and invoicing targets.
- To increase market share in India
- Develop new products and new customer's business
- Ensure proper pricing that will lead to profitable growth.
- Develop the leadership pipeline across India
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE :
Educational Qualifications :
- BE (Mechanical, Production ) / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from reputed University
- MBA in Marketing Management from reputed university.
- Functional Skills
- Knowledge of Bearings Market in India and overseas
- Knowledge of OEM / distribution customer base across India.
- Strong Leadership and Coaching
- Good presentation skill
- People management and Team building
- Good Communication skill.
