As a Modern Trade - National Sales Manager, you will be responsible for building road-map to leadership for Modern Trade Channel, strategizing and implementing programs/ plans for development of sales in this channel.
What you will do :
Handling customer business development through execution of category best practices and insights, and development of common strategic initiatives
Achieving volume and sales targets through effective implementation of sales strategies
Aligning and executing trade marketing and trade promotions interventions with the modern trade sales strategy and overall business strategy
Prioritizing and deploying of available spends towards strategic focus areas and activities for chains and brands
Tracking utilisation and effectiveness of trade spends in activities & channels along with the Go-To-Market Manager
Being responsible for achieving planned sales by channel and customer
Achieving consistent growth by managing various internal and external stakeholders
Working within allocated promotional costs and ensuring effective spending in driving sales and brand building
Leading resource for planning and negotiating for in-store activations, merchandising, sell-out plans with the accounts
Negotiating favourable annual trading and logistic contract with chain
Providing trade information, competitor's activities and market intelligence to company
Managing accounts receivables
Being responsible for debt collection and resolving all long outstanding debts
Resolving customer's trade issues, complaints and operational matters
Managing and reviewing outstation outlets through frequent market visit and liaising with local Sales Management
Desired Candidate Profile
What you need to have:
10-12 years of experience in Personal Care/ FMCG category
Strong experience in national modern trade channel & MT outlets/ retail
