What we are looking at:
- Minimum 15 years of experience in sales, with at least 8 years in a national or regional leadership role within the liquor industry, particularly in the IMFL segment.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding national sales targets and managing successful sales teams across diverse regions.
- Strong understanding of the Indian liquor industry, market dynamics, and consumer preferences on a national level.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel extensively within the country as required.
Job Title: National Sales Head - Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL)
Job Description:
- Organization is a leading company in the liquor industry, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional for the role of National Sales Head - Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL).
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and managing our IMFL sales operations at a national level, overseeing all regions and territories, with a focus on achieving sales targets and expanding market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy encompassing all regions to achieve national sales targets and revenue goals for IMFL products.
- Analyze market trends, competition, and customer feedback to formulate effective sales plans tailored to each region.
Regional Team Leadership and Management:
- Lead and manage regional sales teams across the country, providing guidance, coaching, and performance evaluations to ensure regional success.
- Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the regional sales teams.
National Market Expansion and Business Development:
- Identify new market opportunities and potential areas for business growth within the IMFL segment on a national scale.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, distributors, and retailers in all regions to drive market penetration and brand visibility.
Sales Performance and Reporting:
- Monitor sales performance metrics and KPIs across all regions, analyzing data to make data-driven decisions and adjustments to sales strategies in each region.
- Prepare regular and ad-hoc national and regional sales reports and presentations for senior management, providing insights into sales performance and market trends.
Budgeting and Cost Management:
- Develop and manage the national sales budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to achieve sales objectives in each region while optimizing costs.
- Track expenses, analyze variances, and recommend cost-saving measures on a national level to maximize profitability.
Compliance and Legal Regulations:
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to the sale and distribution of IMFL products across all regions.
- Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations affecting the liquor industry nationally and ensure the company's adherence to them.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customers nationally, addressing their needs and concerns to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty on a broader scale.
