National Sales Manager - PAN India - FMCG -Food (Snacks, confectionery, nutraceuticals, spices etc))

Our client is a leading and innovative FMCG brand with Major segments of beverages, spices, snacks, food and nutraceutical cosmetics. With a strong commitment to quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction, they have established themselves as a prominent player in the cosmetic industry.

We are now seeking a highly experienced and motivated National Sales Manager to lead the general trade - FMCG food segment to drive growth.

Looking for people only from the FMCG- food segment -General Trade

(Snacks, confectionery, nutraceuticals, spices etc )

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue and market share goals within the general trade segment.

2. Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing national sales team, including Regional Sales Managers and Sales Executives, to meet and exceed sales targets.

3. Market Expansion: Identify new market opportunities, channels, and potential partners within the general trade sector to increase brand presence and sales.

4. Distributor and Retailer Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and other key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with our brand values and objectives.

5. Forecasting and Budgeting: Develop annual sales forecasts and budgets, track performance against targets, and implement corrective actions as needed.

6. Sales Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for the sales team to enhance their product knowledge, selling skills, and customer service.

7. Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to make informed decisions and adjustments to the sales strategy.

8. Sales Reporting: Generate regular reports and analyses to measure sales performance and provide insights for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).

- A minimum of 15 years of progressive sales experience in the FMCG Food Segment general trade segment.

- Proven track record of successfully leading sales teams and achieving revenue targets.

- Strong knowledge of the general trade distribution channels, including distributors, wholesalers, and retailers.

- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.

- Self-motivated and results-oriented with a passion for the cosmetic industry.
