Role:
- This is a leadership role and must be accustomed with principal and value based sales and distribution module.
- This position will lead a team comprising of RMS, ASM, SO & Territory Representatives.
- Accountable for achieving the Sales Target as per ABP.
- This role provides direction and leadership to the Sales Team PAN India while responsible for the customer satisfaction and market share nationally.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Strategy / Execution Plan and Sales forecasting.
- Implementation of Sales strategies to achieve revenue generation, increase of market share and overall business growth PAN India.
- Responsible for Annual Brand wise and pack wise sales target achievement nationally. (Volume, value & Bottom-line target).
- Responsible for P & L accountability for the business.
- Responsible to maintain a steady business growth rate.
- Special focus and effort to develop distribution network with renewed emphasis on distribution expansion in the rural markets for company's products.
- To guide RSMs in respect of Appointment of Distributors, Super Stickiest to improve coverage in various States.
- Giving strategic guidance to the RSMs/Dy.RSM/ASMs (in absence of RSM) to establish sales targets brand wise, pack wise as per ABP and help them in breaking the same geographically, monthly, weekly & daily targets.
- Monitor the sales trend, competitor activities and provide necessary support to the team for successful achievement of the Business plan.
- Analyze and report competitors strategies upward on pricing, Placing, promos, schemes, Product Features.
- Work closely with marketing team in respect of Packaging, promotions, pricing etc.
- Lead and deploy sales team to achieve sales targets.
- Develop organisational capabilities to service the market. Mentoring and monitoring the performance of the team.
- SALES TEAM MANAGEMENT-Manage the sales team by communicating clear job expectations, monitoring and evaluating performance.
- Training and motivating sales team
- Maintaining effective control of expenses in line with budget objective.
- Ability to work under aggressive sales target & positive pressure.
Any Graduate with a post graduate degree or diploma in Business Management with specialization in Sales and Marketing.
- Should have worked in family driven companies with proven high achievement orientation.
- Should have strong system / technology based bent of mind.
- Total experience about 20 years experience in FMCG industry out of which at least 2-3 years should be preferably at the national sales manager level.
