We are appointed to recruit National Sales Manager for our client, one of the world's leading direct selling companies, which is passionate about the quality and integrity of their products, with a large poll of independent salespeople. PFB the prerequisites of the job :

- Reporting to the Managing Director of India, the Director Sales/ NSM will be responsible for all critical sales activities related to the India business.

- She / he will be responsible for developing and executing strategy that provides the company with robust and long term growth in line with Vision 2020.

- She /he will be responsible for developing a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.

- The Director Sales will be responsible for all aspects of the sales function, including operations and developing training strategy for the country in line with the Company's Vision and Mission.

- She/he will be expected to provide functional expertise in the nature of best practices to ensure control and compliance

Responsibilities include :

- Creating/Identifying business development opportunities for expansion in terms of spread while ensuring that depth in each of these areas is achieved by Zonal Sales/ Regional Sales Head along with their teams.

- Setting up and driving a strong Customer Service and Operations Organization.

- Setting SOPs and Sales Processes between the internal and the external Sales Organization to achieve Operational Excellence.

- Ensure that Sales Training (content & delivery) strategy is aligned to support the KPI growth in line to the Company's vision.

- Planning/developing business strategy for the regions and implementing it with the team in alignment with the company's vision and core values.

- Translating Company Goals into achievable targets for Zones & Regions along with the Zonal & Regional Heads.

- Profitable revenue growth & expense/cost management.

- Business and sales revenue forecasting & planning for the FY along with the Zonal/ Regional Sales Head.

- Driving and sustaining sales & other growth KPI for the country.

Strategic Planning :

- Prepare action plans along with the Zonal / Regional teams for effectively managing relationships and driving development of the Distributors in the country.

- Identify and initiate development of action plans to penetrate new markets and effective strategy of mapped areas for development

- Participate in development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.

- Building a High performance Sales & Training Team.

- Defining Sales Targets & KPIs for the Regions and Distributors.

- To plan execution of key company events like Distributor conference, executive managers/general manager's jubilee.

- Proactively identify changes within & outside the organization, delivery systems, and competitive pressures to develop and modify strategies and tactics accordingly.

- Define & drive initiatives for leveraging our business opportunity and keeping company philosophy alive.

- In Coordination with marketing and Zonal/ Regional Sales Head: review price changes, new product introduction, inventory and sales force program

Financials :

- Ensuring the financial and business health of the Distributors is excellent and analyze MIS relating to the region and key Distributors

- Budgeting for Zones and Regions.

- Drive revenue growth, sales budgeting and planning.

- Responsible for achieving budgeted revenue growth for the regions.

- Overseeing the profit/loss strategy for the country.

- Support strong long term growth of KPI's for the country.

Qualification, Skills and Experience :

- The position calls for an experienced sale professional with a demonstrated track record in delivering outstanding results in terms of revenue and market share growth in the consumer goods sector.

- Strong leadership competencies and the ability to provide direction and leadership to the sales organization are key requirements.

More specifically, the following core experience & educational background is desirable :

- Experience and success in recruiting and retaining a high performance sales team with demonstrated ability to lead and manage a diverse sales network.

- 15-20 years years of experience in Sales, Marketing and Operation with large Indian or MNC. Experience in an FMCG/ Direct Selling environment would be highly desirable.

- Demonstrated ability to achieve sales plans.

- Demonstrated ability to professionally develop and coach team members.

- Strategy development, project management, problem solving and change management skills.

- Ability to build positive working relationships, both internally and externally.

- Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills and presentation skills

- Strong decision making ability.

- Strong Business and Sales & Marketing acumen.

- Strategic orientation - ability to see the future and plan current activities to be in sync with the long term view.

- High EQ and people skills- Interpersonal skills, relationship management skills, influencing and the charisma of a strong leader

- Self-driven and result oriented

- An imaginative and thoughtful approach to problem-solving

- Collaborative in approach

- Displays high energy levels

- Positive and optimistic without sacrificing critical thinking

- In addition to a good basic degree, would have additional sales & marketing qualifications with an MBA (Sales & Marketing) from a reputed business school.
