Company Overview: One of the leading organization into the business of High-end Power cutting tools and Construction Equipment. Its an Indian Subsidy of a Swedish based MNC. Role Summary: This person will be responsible for all direct sales of the company in India and SAARC region across equipment and tools businesses. The incumbent will develop and implement the strategy for penetration into the identified segments, build relationships with key accounts to achieve the planned targets, and continuously assess the market for new opportunities in both existing and proposed businesses, carrying the sales team along with him. Key responsibilities - Accountable for drawing up direct sales strategy in alignment with business goals; delivering annual sales plan; exploring new opportunities proactively for existing and new product lines - Pro-actively manage direct sales agent network. - Develop a territory & segment business plan for regional sales managers which includes forecasting on a short, mid, and long term basis - Ensure quality of sales and commercial discipline in margins and collections management - Exhibit at local trade shows and industry events - Work with Marketing and Product Management on current and new product promotions - Manage and track sales activity in the ERP platform; provide real time sales information to top management on various sales parameters - Engagement with internal stakeholders (SCM, finance, service) for smooth sales operations and business improvement - Build and manage the pan-India sales team effectively in order to achieve the overall and individual goals
