Role: National Sales Manager (NSM) for the newly acquired Business Division (category) at the Client Company  Company Background:  Professional Entrepreneur owned and managed, Private Equity invested and BSE listed company.  Strong market challenger in the fast growing travel bags and luggage market.  Business Background:  The market size for the NSM's business category in India is estimated at Rs 12,000 Cr annually (and growing). The category has mostly unorganized players who are restricted in their respective geographies.   Client Company has a small but significant presence in this market. Client Company aims to grow in the category via distribution expansion.   Job Description   Client Company is currently in the process of identifying a highly energetic - go-getter- who will target aggressive expansion of distribution all across India. The role of the National Sales Manager for Client Company's newly acquired business.  Role & Responsibilities  - Lead the sales organisation in achieving the growth target for the category  - Develop and implement sales strategies in line with the aggressive annual business plan  - Set up and develop distribution infrastructure across new geographies   Channel Expansions for market coverage through Channel partner acquisition, retention & development   Planning and implementing GTM for Modern trade, general trade, category specific channel   - Design and implement Channel/Field marketing plans to complement the sales and distribution plans   - Ensure & monitor efficiency and efficacy of sales process with actual on ground execution   - Understanding seasonality, planning for seasonality and strong execution would be a critical success factor  - Ensure high levels of forecast accuracy in building sales plans  - Team identification and building to be specified by Client Company  Set appropriate targets for key employees and motivate them to achieve the same  Lead and inspire individuals through passion, commitment levels and synergies across functions   Identify and groom and mentor few set of identified high performers for higher challenges  Work Skills:  - Demonstrated ability to understand business and its challenges  - Strong analytical skills and attention to detail  - Excellent communication skills  Ideal Candidate:  - Incumbent would currently be an National Sales Manager (NSM) or would be an Regional Sales Manager (RSM) with experience in at least two geographies.   - Preferably an MBA. Would have led high energy teams has led and successfully executed aggressive distribution expansion plans.   - Have the ability to work with and influence teams across functions.   - The ideal candidate would be around 35 to 40 years of age  Industry background from FMCG, Consumer Durables, Consumer Electronics, Telecom, Pharma (OTC products only), Paints would be preferred   Job Location: Andheri (E), Mumbai  Department: Sales  Grade / Designation: GM  Requires the candidate to travel: Yes  Reporting to: Head - MD  Compensation: As per Industry Standards - INR 35-45 lacs per annum
